1. PREP
Clean the substrate so that it is free of all dirt, oil, grease, sawdust, splinters, loose peeling paint, concrete sealers or curing compounds, and cement laitance. Smooth rough and uneven surfaces.

2. PRIME
Apply PROFLEX^TM primer at a rate of up to 800 square feet per gallon (when sprayed on). Apply with a pump sprayer, brush or short-nap roller (supplied in boxes of PROFLEX^TM membrane). In certain instances, primer is not required.

3. PEEL & STICK
Simply place the PROFLEX^TM membrane, with the release paper still attached, over the area to be treated. Unroll the membrane and cut, leaving 2” to 3” excess at one end. Peel off the release paper to expose the tacky surface of the membrane, and smooth out the occasional bubbles or wrinkles. Unlike other underlayments, PROFLEX^TM can be repositioned once in place over primer. Floor covering may be installed immediately.

4. INSTALL FLOORING
Surfacing materials such as wood, ceramic tile, porcelain tile, marble, stone or brick can be installed immediately after the membrane has been installed.
