PROFLEX^TM for Sound Reduction
PROFLEX^TM has been shown to effectively reduce impact noise, including foot traffic, tapping sounds and noise from dropped objects, as well as airborne noise such as stereo, televison and talking sounds. Tests in certified sound laboratories, as well as field tests by acoustical engineers, have demonstrated PROFLEX^TM membranes’ sound-reduction ratings exceed most building code standards.

PROFLEX^TM for Crack Isolation
All PROFLEX^TM membranes allow the finished flooring to move independently of the substrate, keeping cracks of up to 3/8” from transferring to the floor covering. PROFLEX^TM membranes also prevent tenting, buckling, separation, grout cracks, delamination and hollow spots. PROFLEX^TM products meet TCNA assembly standards for crack isolation.

PROFLEX^TM for Moisture Vapor Control
The combination of the PROFLEX^TM membrane with cork composition creates an impermeable, monolithic barrier to keep moisture and water vapor from penetrating up into the floor from the substrate.

PROFLEX^TM for Waterproofing
The PROFLEX^TM membrane includes a waterproofing barrier to moisture from penetrating down into the subfloor assembly. PROFLEX^TM products meet TCNA assembly for waterproofing.

PROFLEX^TM for Improved Productivity
The peel & stick ease of installation that PROFLEX^TM provides means a significant reduction in time of installation, along with more consistent application. The result is more square feet installed, with fewer mechanics and reduced tear outs.
